I never sign up for those credit cards. I did that with an Ann Taylor one just to save a percentage, then closed the account. Someone tried to open it a few months ago and scared me to death, thinking it was idenity theft.
I also always say no to those cards. To me, the extra % off just isn't worth it. Your heart was in the right place though. You're a sweetie!
