I had to go to my orthopedic surgeon yesterday. He didn't want to do the cortisone injection(for reasons that deserve another post), so he gave me pills that do the exact same thing.
Strangely, I didn't feel a heavy weight when I went to the doctor. I knew that something had to be done. I had decided that I wasn't leaving until we collectively decided on a new course of action. He told me the risks, but I knew it was take the pills or hurt.
So, I'm taking the pills as directed. I can't wait to have some relief! I won't know what to do with myself. I'll keep you posted.
