Full of Anticipation

My mom kept a diary for my brother and me, so I wanted to document this day for my nephew.

My sister in law is scheduled to be induced today. Even though she's not due until the 19th, she wanted to be induced. That means we will have a new little member to our family!

Mason,

I can hardly believe that it's time for you to be here. Nine months seemed to have passed by so quickly. I've been wondering who you'll look like, what kind of temperment you'll have, and so much more. I won't have to wait much longer! The anticipation is definitely building. I can't wait to watch you grow up and become your own person.

I love to write, so I thought I would document my thoughts before you come into this great big world. I also want to give you a little advice. :)

First and foremost, love with all of your heart. Don't be ashamed to be different. Blending in with the crowd is overrated anyway.

Remember to dream big. I read a quote one time that said the only place dreams are impossible is in your own mind. The world is yours for the taking, my sweet nephew.

I could say much more, but my mind is swirling with a million thoughts. Your daddy has got the music turned up this morning, so I think that's why I can't concentrate. He's playing the song, "We Will Rock You" right now. :) I guess that means he's ready to get this show on the road!

I just want you to know that you are loved. I can't wait to welcome you into the world.

All my love,

Auntie M
